Text Configurations

These texts are used in various responses to errors, (when users complete forms) and other situations.

User Control Panel and Registration Text (When registering a new user account and working inside the user control panel)

Text to display with a premium link inside the user control panel when it has no expiry date and never expires.

Text to indicate that a link needs approval from Administrators before included in the Directory. This text is displayed next to link listings in the user control panel that needs to be approved by the Administrators before it will be available in the Directory & Search Engine.

Text to indicate that a link has been approved and is now available in the Directory & Search Engine.

Text to indicate that the user needs to provide a password.

Text to indicate that the user needs to provide a name.

Text to indicate that the user needs to provide an email address.

Text to indicate that the user needs to provide a value for an extra user field when one is required.

Text to indicate that the user name or password was incorrect when trying to login.

Text to indicate that the user name or password was incorrect when trying to have the activation email resent.

Text to indicate that the email provided when retrieving a password was not found in the database.

Text to indicate that a user name needs to be provided to register a new account.

Text to indicate that a user name needs to be at least 4 characters.

Text to indicate that a password needs to be provided to register a new account.

Text to indicate that the verify password does not match the original.

Text to indicate that a name needs to be provided for the account that is to be registered.

Text to indicate that an email address needs to be provided.

Text to indicate that the confirmation email does not match the original email address.

Text to indicate that the email address is already in the database when registering a new account. Duplicate email addresses not allowed.

Text to indicate that the user name has invalid characters and that only alphabetical or numerical characters may be used in user names.

Text to indicate that the user name the user is trying to use is already in use and that he/she should use another.

Text to indicate that the user account has not been activated when a user tries to log into an account that has not been activated.

Text to indicate that the letters typed (for image authentication) where incorrect.

Add URL Text (When doing a new submission)

Text to display when no email address was supplied.

Text to display when no category has been selected when doing a submission. (For large search engine submission forms)

Text to display when a title was not supplied.

Text to display when no description was supplied.

Text to display when the description was to long. This length of the description can be configured in the Control Panel >> Global Engine Settings.

Text to display when no keywords was supplied.

Text to display when no URL was supplied.

Not in use - (Depreciated)

Text to display when no modify password was supplied.

Text to display when the modify password does not match with the verify password.

Text to display when an invalid email address was supplied.

Text to display when the listing a user is trying to submit already exists.

Text to display when it is required that a user supplies input for an extra field but the user has not provided anything.

Text to display when no owner name was supplied.

Text to display when a user did not type the correct letters for authentication images displayed.

If the reciprocal link checker is in use and a reciprocal link was not found then the text below will be displayed:

If the uploading of images is enabled and an end user submitted an image that is larger than the allowed size then this text will be displayed:

Modify Text (When modifying links)

Text to display when the modify password provided was incorrect.

Text to display when no title was provided for a link.

Text to display when no link description was provided.

Text to display when no keywords was supplied for a link listing.

Text to display when no URL was supplied for a link listing.

Text to display when no owner name was supplied for a link listing.

Text to display when no email address was supplied for a link listing.

Text to display when no password was supplied for a link listing.

Text to display when it is required that a user supplies input for an extra field but the user has not provided anything.

Text to display when a user does not have permission to modify a link. (User is logged in but the link he/she wants to modify is not linked to his/her account)

Reviews/Comments (When adding a review or comment for a link)

Text to display when no name was supplied for a link listing.

Text to display when no comment/review was supplied.

Text to display when the user's comment has exceeded the maximum amount of characters allowed. This can be setin inside the
Control Panel >> Settings >> Global Engine Settings >> Comment/Reviews Submission Settings

Text to display when a user entered data in an extra field/key that exceeded the maximum amount of characters allowed for an extra comment/review field/key. Note that !!field!! in this section is replaced by the descriptive name of the field when this message is displayed. Text to display when a user didn't enter a value for an extra field/key where a value is required to be entered.
