Backup Database
This action will backup the contents of your database. In order to make an entire backup of all settings, templates, and data of your search engine, download the entire contents of your 'data' directory after you made a database backup. The 'data' directory is explained in the installation instructions. The database backup files is placed in a subdirectory under the 'data' directory that is called 'dbbackup'. See the documentation for more on data backups.

Please note that it is vital that the MySQL database you are using is not used by other programs. This means that it should contain only tables that PowerSeek creates inside it. If the PowerSeek database is used by other applications that created their own tables, then the backup utility will aditionally try to restore data of other programs which can cause severe problems.

Restore Database Backup
Restore data to the database that has previously been backed up. Note that this action will replace all data (links, directories, etc..) with the data that was previously backed up.

Configure
Configure the backup utility. Choose between two methods of backing up your database.
