Spambot Disabler

Ban spam bots, email harversters or any automated spider or crawler that uses excessive server resources. This plugin will disable bots executing large numbers of scripts within very short time periods which eats away at system resources or leads to crashing a server.

How it works:
Enabling this will ban automated scripts from executing the scripts of PowerSeek. Please be very carefull with the settings below as it can ban normal web users from using your Search Engine. Stick to the recommended (settings) below unless you know how it works.

Configuration:

Script loads in 30 seconds?	(50 recommended ) If there is more than this number of script loads in 30 seconds from the same unique IP address then this IP address will be banned.
How many minites should IP addresses be banned when found to have abused the system? (loaded 50 scripts in 30 seconds for example)	(10 minutes for example)
