Question: When I run setup.cgi I get the following error:
Failed... Reason: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock'

Answer: This is one of two problems.

It can be a MySQL setup/installation problem where you will have to contact your host so that they look into the problem. (The MySQL server may not be running)

This will also occur if the MySQL server, serving you is situated on a remote host. This means that you will have to enter a Mysql hostname and port in setup.cgi - If you don't know these, contact your host and ask them what the MySQL remote host address is and on what port MySQL is running on.
