Question: When I try to log into the PowerSeek Control Panel I get the following error:
Software error:
SQL Syntax Error: Table 'links' is marked as crashed and should be repaired...
For help, please send mail, etc ....

Answer: The 'crashed' situation (where the mysql database table crashed) can some times happen in the following situation:
- When the server machine is rebooted and mysql did not shut down properly.
- With time errors can occur on mysql database tables and they need to be repaired.

To solve this and repair the mysql database tables login to the PowerSeek control panel. After you have logged in errors may occur. Ignore these. Now load admin51.cgi inside your browser. admin51.cgi will be in the same location as admin.cgi (the script you load to log into the control panel)
After doing the above you will see that PowerSeek states that it's repairing the database. It's actually telling mysql to repair the tables.
